Kerala TET-April 2024

–

• 12th/ 10+2 (or its equivalent) with at least 45% of the possible points
• A two-year diploma in education (special education) and a Higher Secondary/Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% of the possible points.
• A minimum of 45% in the 12th or 10+2 (or its equivalent) and a 2-year elementary education diploma meet the requirements.

12th/10+2 (or its equivalent) with a minimum of 50% of the possible points, and a four-year degree Elementary Education Bachelor’s Degree (B.El.Ed.)

Paper/ Category II – Upper Primary Classes (Class 6-8)

• Two-year elementary education diploma; Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Commerce; and Trained Teachers’ Certificate (TTC)
• A minimum of 50% of the points needed to pass the Senior Secondary or 12th grade, as well as a four-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) degree must be earned.
• A minimum of 45% in a qualifying B.A., B.Sc., or B.Com. degree, as well as a year of Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.)

A minimum of 50% in Higher Secondary/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) and a four-year B.A./B.Sc.Ed. or B.A. Ed.

Paper/ Category III – High School Classes (Class 9-12)

• B.Ed. and graduation with a BA, BSc, or B.Com degree and at least 45% of the possible points.
• MSc degree in the relevant field.Ed.D.

Paper/ Category IV – Language Teachers

• Those who have been approved by universities, the NCTE, the Board of Examinations, the Government of Kerala, or who hold a Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in teaching in any topic are eligible to apply.
• Candidates may apply for Kerala TET 2021 Paper IV if they meet the requirements for the positions of Language Teachers (up to Upper Primary level) in Arabic, Hindi, Sanskrit, and Urdu; Specialist Teachers; and Physical Education Teachers as listed in Chapter XXXI of the Kerala Education Act and Rules.
