Kerala TET November 2024 Recruitment Notification – Apply Online for Teacher Eligibility Test(Link Active)

For Paper/ Category 1 – Lower Primary Classes (Class 1-5):

• 12th/ 10+2 (or it’s equivalent) with a minimum of 45% marks. Also must have passed the Trained Teachers Certificate or Diploma in Education (TTC/D.Ed/DLEd)
• Higher Secondary/ Senior Secondary (or it’s equivalent) with at least 45% marks and 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
• 12th/ 10+2 (or it’s equivalent) with at least 50% marks along with qualifying 2-year diploma in elementary education
• 12th/ 10+2 (or it’s equivalent) with at least 50% marks and a degree in 4 years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)

For Paper/ Category II – Upper Primary Classes (Class 6-8)

• B.Ed. Two-year Diploma/TTC/ D.Ed/ D.L.Ed in Elementary Education along with any other eligible degree to apply for the course. Must pass.

  B.Ed with 45% marks. Bachelor in Education (B.Ed)/DLEd qualification along with any eligible degree (NCTE will be applicable) to apply for the course. Rules issued from time to time
  Otherwise
  4 years Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) with pass in Higher Secondary/Senior Secondary (Equivalent) with 50% marks
  Otherwise
  4 years B.Sc/BA in Education (BA.Ed Or B.Sc.Ed) with pass in Higher Secondary/Senior Secondary (Equivalent) with 50% marks.
  Otherwise
  BBA degree awarded or recognized by universities in Kerala if other qualifications are required to write K.TET Category 2.12
  Final year students of D.Ed/D.El.Ed and B.Ed can also apply. While applying for K.TET, a certificate from the head of the institution that you are a 2nd year student must be produced.

Paper/ Category III – High School Classes (Class 9-12)

• Graduation with BA/ BSc/ B.Com degree securing at least 45% marks along with a B.Ed.
• Degree in the subject concerned with MSc.Ed. Degree.

Paper/ Category IV – Language Teachers

• Candidates, possessing a Certificate/ Diploma/ Degree in teaching in any subject, and are approved by Universities/ NCTE/ Board of Examinations/ Government of Kerala, are eligible to apply.
• Those candidates who have acquired qualifications for the posts of Language Teachers of Arabic, Hindi, Sanskrit & Urdu (up to Upper Primary level), Specialist teachers & Physical Education teachers as mentioned in Chapter XXXI of Kerala Education Act And Rules can apply for Kerala TET 2024 Paper IV.
