Naval Dockyard, Mumbai Apprentice Recruitment 2024-Selection Process:
- Shortlisting: The selection of qualified applicants for further consideration will be made on the basis of their combined ITI trade marks. The grades obtained in the tenth standard will be compared in the event of a tie. Should there be a subsequent tie, the candidates’ dates of birth will be compared, with the older candidates being ranked highest. Note that 10th or 8th class marks will be used for the shortlisting process for non-ITI posts.
- Written Exam: Those who made the short list must show up for a written test. Multiple Choice Questions covering General Science 35, Mathematics (Numerical Aptitude) 35, and General Awareness (common to all trades) 301 will make up the exam. Negative marks won’t be applied for incorrect responses, and the time allotted for the
- Provisional Merit List: Based on the candidates’ exam scores, a provisional selection list will be released after the written exam is over.
- Interview: The candidates who have been tentatively shortlisted will have their interviews in Mumbai. The applicants’ registered email address will be notified of the interview date.
- Verification of Documents: An oral exam and document verification will both happen during the interview. The following documents must be brought by the candidate: SSC/matriculation certificate, lTl certificate, Aadhar card, caste certificate (if applicable), PwD certificate, ex-serviceman/armed force personnel certificate (if applicable), and sports certificate (if applicable).
- Final Merit List: On its official website, the authorities will release the names and categories of all the selected candidates on the final merit list. On the designated date, candidates who demonstrate merit will be contacted to complete joining procedures and medical exams.
