Short Information

All India National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET UG 2024) will be held once more by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Details about the application’s start and end dates will be made available from 09/02/2024 to 16/03/2024. However, NTA just published a calendar with details on the NEET UG 2024 exam date. Like last year, the exam will be administered offline this year as well. The National Medical Commission (NMC) has issued the updated NEET UG 2024 test syllabus, which has been changed for this year’s exam. NEET UG Qualification Details

  • 10+2 Intermediate Exam with Physics, Chemistry, Biology PCB Group of Subjects in Any Recognized.
  • NEET UG Code 01: A candidate may apply and take the qualifying examination, which is the 12 Standard in 2024, whose results are still pending. However, if the candidate does not receive the necessary pass percentage of marks at the first round of counseling, they will not be eligible for admission to the MBBS or BDS.
  • NEET UG Code 02 : Higher/Senior Secondary Examination: The Higher/Senior Secondary Examination, also known as the Indian School Certificate Examination, is equivalent to the 10+2 Higher/Senior Secondary Examination after 12 years of study. The final two years of study must include coursework in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and Physics (which includes practical tests in these subjects). Alternatively, students may choose to take any other elective subject with English at a level that is at least as high as the core course for English, as recommended by the National Council of Educational Research and Training.
  • NEET UG Code 03 : The Intermediate/Pre-degree Science Examination from an Indian University, Board, or other accredited testing organization that includes a practical test in each of the areas of physics, chemistry, biology, and biotechnology, as well as English as a required subject.
  • NEET UG Code 04 : After passing the Higher Secondary Examination, the Pre-University Examination, or an equivalent test, candidates may take the Pre-professional/Pre-medical Examination, which includes Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English. English will be a required subject for the Pre-professional/Pre-medical examination, along with practical tests in these areas.
  • NEET UG Code 05 : Providing the examination is a university examination and the candidate has passed the previous qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-Technology, and English at a level not less than a core course, the first year of a three-year degree program at a recognized university will include practical tests in these subjects.
  • NEET UG Code 06 : B.Sc. Exam of an Indian University, provided that the candidate has passed the previous qualifying exam with English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany, Zoology), and Biotechnology, and that the candidate has passed the B.Sc. Exam with at least two of these subjects.
  • NEET UG Code 07: Any other examination that is determined to be equivalent to the Intermediate Science Examination of an Indian University or Board, taking Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology with practical tests in each of these subjects and English, must meet the same scope and standards as the last two years of 10+2 study, which consists of these subjects.
