Syllabus:
Paper-I:
A.General Intelligence & Reasoning:It would cover both spoken and nonspoken queries. This part could have questions about relationship concepts, arithmetical reasoning and figural classification, arithmetic number series, non-verbal series, coding and decoding, statement conclusion, syllogistic reasoning, and more. It could also include questions about analogies, similarities and differences, space visualization, spatial orientation, problem solving, analysis, judgment, and decision making.Semantic Analogy, Symbolic/Number Analogy, Figural Analogy, Semantic Classification, Symbolic/Number Classification, Figural Classification, Semantic Series, Number Series, Figural Series, Trends, Space Orientation, Space Visualization, Venn Diagrams, Drawing inferences, and Coding & De-coding are among the topics covered. Punched hole, folding and unfolding of the pattern, Figural Pattern: completion and folding matching addresses, indexing, Date and city coincide Roll numbers and center codes are categorized. Classification, decoding, and coding of capital and small letters and numbers Integrated Diagrams, Social intelligence, emotional intelligence, critical thinking, etc.
B. General Knowledge and General Awareness: This component’s questions will try to gauge the candidate’s overall understanding of his surroundings and how they relate to society. Additionally, questions will be created to assess a candidate’s understanding of current affairs as well as topics related to everyday observations and experience from a scientific perspective, as is reasonable for any educated individual. There will also be questions on India and its surrounding nations on the test, with a focus on topics including general policing, scientific research, history, culture, geography, economics, and the Indian Constitution.
C. Quantitative Aptitude :The purpose of the questions is to assess the candidate’s aptitude for using numbers appropriately and their grasp of numbers. The computation of whole numbers, decimals, fractions, and connections between numbers will all be covered in the test. Ratio, proportion, and percentage Averages, Interest, Profit & Loss, Discount, Square Roots, Partnership Trade, Combination and Combination, Time & labor, Time & distance fundamental algebraic identities of elementary surds and school algebra Linear Equation Graphs, Triangle and all of its different types of centers, Triangle congruence and resemblance, circles and their chords, tangents, angles subtended by a circle’s chords, common tangents to two or more circles, The following are examples of regular polygons: triangle, quadrilaterals, circular, right prism, right circular cone, right circular cylinder, sphere, hemispheres, rectangular parallelepiped, regular right pyramid with triangular or square base, heights and distances, complementary angles, trigonometric ratio, degree and radian measures, standard identities, A frequency polygon, a histogram, Pie chart with bar diagram.
D. English Comprehension: Tests will be administered to assess candidates’ proficiency in writing, basic comprehension, and understanding of proper English.
Paper-II:
English Language & Comprehension: The questions in these sections will be based on error recognition, filling in the blanks (using verbs, prepositions, articles, etc.), vocabulary, spelling, grammar, sentence structure, synonyms, antonyms, sentence completion, phrases and idiomatic word use, comprehension, etc. and will be intended to assess the candidate’s understanding and knowledge of the English language.

Eligibility Conditions:
A. Nationality/ Citizenship: A candidate must be either:
- 1. a citizen of India, or
- 2. a subject of Nepal, or
- 3. a subject of Bhutan, or
- 4. As long as the candidate falls into one of the aforementioned categories 4.2 or 4.3 and is the recipient of an eligibility certificate from the Indian government
- 5. A candidate for whom a certificate of eligibility is required will be permitted to the examination; however, the offer of appointment will not be extended to him until the Government of India has granted him the required eligibility certificate.
B. Age Requirement: Candidates must be between the ages of 20 and 25. i.e., to be eligible to apply, the candidate must have been born between 02.08.1998 and 01.08.2003.

C.Essential Qualifications:
i) All positions, a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or its equivalent is required.
ii) For male candidates exclusively seeking the position of Sub Inspector in the Delhi Police: To be eligible for the position of Sub Inspector in Delhi Police, male candidates must have a valid driver’s license for LMVs (motorcycles and cars) on the day of the Physical Endurance and Measurement Tests (PE&MT). Only male candidates for the position of SubInspector in CAPFs are eligible if they do not currently possess a valid driver’s license for motorcycles and cars.

For male candidates:

2.1.6 Kms race in 6.5 minutes
3. Long Jump: 3.65 metre in 3 chances
4. High Jump : 1.2 metre in 3 chances
5. Shot put (16 Lbs): 4.5 metre in 3 chances
For female candidates:
1.100 metre race in 18 seconds
2. 800 metre race in 4 minutes
3. Long Jump: 2.7 metre in 3 chances
4. High Jump: 0.9 metre in 3 chances.
Note: For female candidates, there won’t be a minimum chest measurement requirement.
E. Medical standard (For all posts):
Eye sight: N6 (the better eye) and N9 (the worse eye) should be the minimal near vision levels. The minimum distance vision for both eyes should be 6/6 (the better eye) and 6/9 (the poorer eye), without the need for any sort of correction such as glasses or surgery to increase visual acuity. The right eye is superior than the left in a right-handed person, and vice versa.
Tattoo: Tattoos will be allowed as per following stipulations only:
(i) Content: Tattoos that show the Indian Army’s name and/or religious symbols are acceptable.
(ii) Location: Tattoos on customary body parts, such as the dorsum of the hands or the inside aspect of the forearm (but only the left forearm, which is a non-saluting limb), are permitted.
(iii) Size: The size must be smaller than ¼ of the specific bodily component (e.g., the hand or elbow).

Scheme of Examination:
A. Written Examination:Paper I, the Physical Standard Test (PST)/Physical Endurance Test (PET), Paper II, and the Detailed Medical Examination (DME) will make up the examination. These examination phases are all required. These papers’ and tests’ specifics are as follows:

There will be objective multiple-choice questions in both papers. Paper I will have questions in Hindi and English for Parts I, II, and III.
Note: Only those who were selected for PET/Medical Examination II based on their performance in Paper I will be contacted for this second exam. Only those applicants who pass the PST/PET will have their Paper II reviewed.
B. Physical Endurance Test (PET):Candidates must submit to a medical examination and PET. The only applicants who will be shortlisted for the Physical Endurance Test (PET)/PST and Medical Test are those who receive qualifying marks in Paper I of the written examination, as determined at the Commission’s discretion.

(i). For male candidates only:
a) 100 meters race in 16 seconds
b) 1.6 Kms race in 6.5 minutes
c) Long Jump : 3.65 metres in 3 chances

(ii). For female candidates only:
a) 100 metres race in 18 seconds
b) 800 metres race in 4 minutes

C. Medical Examination:The Medical Officer of the CAPFs or any other Medical Officer or Assistant Surgeon belonging to Grade-I of any Central/State Government Hospital or Dispensary will perform a medical examination on all the applicants who pass Paper-II. In order to proceed with the Detailed Medical Examination (DME), the applicants who are deemed unfit during the DME will undergo a Review Medical Examination (RME), ideally on the following day. The Re-Medical Board’s or Review Medical Board’s decision is final, and no appeals or representations against the decision will be considered.
Eye sight: N6 (the better eye) and N9 (the worse eye) should be the minimal near vision levels. The minimum distance vision for both eyes should be 6/6 (the better eye) and 6/9 (the poorer eye), without the need for any sort of correction such as glasses or surgery to increase visual acuity. The right eye is superior than the left in a right-handed person, and vice versa.The applicant must have excellent color vision and not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose veins, or squint in their eyes.They must be in good physical and mental health and free from any conditions that might make it difficult for them to carry out their duties effectively.
Ultimately chosen applicants for Sub-Inspector positions would need to complete the following seven obstacle courses as part of their training program; if they don’t, they might not be allowed to stay in the Force:
1) Jumping over the Vertical Board;
2) Holding the rope on jumping from the Board.
3) Tarzan Swing;
4) Jumping on the Horizontal Board;
5) Parallel Rope;
6) Monkey Crawl;
7) Vertical Rope.

Selection Procedure:The examination will comprise three parts: a detailed medical examination (DME), a computer-based examination (Paper I and Paper II), and a physical standard test (PST) or physical endurance test (PET).

A. Mode of Selection:Without including bonus marks that apply to holders of NCC certificates, the minimum qualifying marks for Papers I and II are as follows:
- UR: 30%
- OBC/EWS: 25%
- All other categories: 20%

b. Physical Endurance Test (PET)
i. For male candidates:
- 100 metre race in 16 seconds
- 1.6 Kms race in 6.5 minutes
- Long Jump: 3.65 metre in 3 chances
- High Jump : 1.2 metre in 3 chances
- Shot put (16 Lbs): 4.5 metre in 3 chances
ii. For female candidates:
- 100 metre race in 18 seconds
- 800 metre race in 4 minutes
- Long Jump: 2.7 metre in 3 chances
- High Jump: 0.9 metre in 3 chances.
C. Medical Examination:The Medical Officer of the CAPFs or any other Medical Officer or Assistant Surgeon belonging to Grade-I of any Central/State Government Hospital or Dispensary will perform a medical examination on all the applicants who pass Paper-II. In order to proceed with the Detailed Medical Examination (DME), the applicants who are deemed unfit during the DME will undergo a Review Medical Examination (RME), ideally on the following day. The Re-Medical Board’s or Review Medical Board’s decision is final, and no appeals or representations against the decision will be considered.
Eye sight: N6 (the better eye) and N9 (the worse eye) should be the minimal near vision levels. The minimum distance vision for both eyes should be 6/6 (the better eye) and 6/9 (the poorer eye), without the need for any sort of correction such as glasses or surgery to increase visual acuity. The right eye is superior than the left in a right-handed person, and vice versa.The applicant must have excellent color vision and not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose veins, or squint in their eyes.They must be in good physical and mental health and free from any conditions that might make it difficult for them to carry out their duties effectively.
Ultimately chosen applicants for Sub-Inspector positions would need to complete the following seven obstacle courses as part of their training program; if they don’t, they might not be allowed to stay in the Force:
1) Jumping over the Vertical Board;
2) Holding the rope on jumping from the Board.
3) Tarzan Swing;
4) Jumping on the Horizontal Board;
5) Parallel Rope;
6) Monkey Crawl;
7) Vertical Rope.
